Itinerary
Upon arrival in Hanoi aka Paris of the East, meet and greet with local representative and transfer to Halong Bay to board 2Days 1Night cruise ship. Lunch and dinner onboard cruise. Other activities to look forward to are:
- cruising along uninhabited islets (Fighting Dog islet, Thumb islet, etc)
- visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave)
- optional kayaking or bamboo boat rides
- optional squid of fishing activities
- onboard karaoke session
Morning breakfast followed by some fun activities:
- visit Tung Sao pearl farm
- onboard cooking activities: learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring roll
After disembarking, we will proceed to Hanoi. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner will be at local restaurant following by shopping at Hanoi Old Quarter night market.
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sapa and check in at the hotel.
- Sapa is a mountainous town in Northwest Vietnam. It is located at an altitude of 1500m – 1600m from sea level, 317km northwest of Hanoi. This town has a large concentration of ethnic minorities such as: H’Mong, Red Dzao, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho. Sapa is surrounded by majestic landscapes and attracts both local and international tourist alike.
- Start hiking downhill to Cat Cat village at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan – the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Upon arrival at the village, you will have a chance to visit the Black H’mong’s traditional stilt houses as well as watch people weaving, embroidering, and drying their clothes, etc.
- Visit the dramatic and picturesque Cat Cat Waterfall, which is a great spot for photo-shoots.
Overnight in Sapa.
Following breakfast, we proceed to visit Mount Fansifan: located in Lao Cai province, about 9km southwest of Sapa town. It belongs to the mountain range Hoang Lien Son, located in the northwest of Vietnam.
- Journey up to Mount Fansifan via a 20-minute 3-wire cable car ride
- following by a trek up to 600 steps before finally reaching the peak of Fansipan (the Roof of Indochina) and enjoy the crisp air and beautiful landscape.
After lunch, proceed to Hanoi. On arrival check in at hotel and remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight Hanoi.
After breakfast, check out of hotel. If time permitting, you may enjoy some last minute shopping before transfer to airport for flight back home.
